Artists from Jam Filled Entertainment will a group of CREATE post-high student animators throughout the 2023/2024 school year! The students will receive instruction and masterclasses from the mentors, as well as monthly feedback meetings on the creation of a short animated film.
Leading the way from Jam Filled is Phil Lafrance. Phil is a Co-Founder of Jam Filled Entertainment and Creative Director for Jam Filled Originals. He works as a Character Designer, Storyboard Artist, Show Creator, and Director. He’s done it all! When he’s not doing those things, he keeps busy cleaning cat litter.
“Jam Filled is over the moon excited to be working with such an enthusiastic talented group of students over the upcoming school year,” said mentor Phil Lafrance. “Looking forward to showing you the process of how Jam Filled creates, develops and produces content and seeing you grow your skills. Many of our artists will periodically join you to go over some of the techniques and processes we use in various departments.”
“We are over the moon to be working with this prestigious studio,” said Jamie Leduc, CREATE Department Head. “They are being so generous with their time and expertise. This will elevate our program and help prepare students for the animation workforce.”
