On April 20, 109 students gathered at Sisler High School for the 2023 Anijam in honour of Earth Day.
CREATE students mentored students between the ages of 9 and 21 in creating a short animation. Participating schools included Meadows West School, Gordon Bell, Shaunessy Park School, Andrew Minarski School, Ecole Waterford School, and Gordon Bell High School. The day began with a keynote address from Mike Barth and Mike Hunter from Jam Filled Animation. Prizes, sponsored by Toon Boom Animation and Wacom, were awarded to mentors, content creator and visiting students. Students were given a pizza lunch, sponsored by Wacom.
