During the 2021/2022 & 2022/2023 school years, groups of CREATE post-high animation students have been doing work placements with Nelvana.
In 2021, Nelvana engaged 12 post-high students to do paid animation work placements that included mentorship from Nelvana animators.
In 2022, Nelvana engaged 7 students with this opportunity.
Student work full time for the studio (7 hours per day) creating animation for Nelvana shows.
Nelvana is a Canadian animation studio and entertainment company owned by Corus Entertainment. They are one of the largest studios in Canada. Nelvana’s programs include Thomas and Friends, Care Bears, Ranger Bob, Max & Ruby and more.
