THREE INCREDIBLE WEEKENDS IN A ROW (KINDA)!Ā š
Once again, the Sisler CREATE Film Cohort got to fly to Toronto for an unforgettable end-of-the-year trip!Ā š„
On Thursday June 5th, Students walked to CBC Centre and visited various showrooms and studios, running into familiar faces David Common and Marcia Young! After lunch, several students got to screen their CBC documentaries and final films to Andrew D’cruz and Jacquie Lee! Students took part in a Q&A panel and received lots of great feedback on their work. Later on, the group got blessed with a special live performance from Hanorah! Thank you to Justine Fung and Annie Nguyen for facilitating our visit!
During the last day of the trip, students recieved a tour of Toronto Metropolitan University. Aya Elmeligy, our tour guide, took the group to see some incredible sound, game and film studios. Afterwards, the group met with Oren Edenson to tour Urban Post Productions! Shoutout to Roberta Bratti and Mark Gingras for the special opportunity!
